I picked up a Teknique T052 Large Universal Remote from a bin a while ago, but as it was sans instructions I hadn't got around to making it work with the telly until yesterday. It took me a stupid amount of googling, so here's the info that I found:
- Turn on your TV.
- Hold down "SET" and press the "TV" button and release.
- Press "SET" again. The red light on the remote should be blinking on and off.
- Press the power button several times.
- Eventually, your TV should turn off. When it does, press "TV" again to save the setting.
This works for the "SAT", "VCR" and "DVD" buttons, as well as "TV".
